(Kolkata) Bengal crapped all over Rajasthan, piling up 465-4 and taking a 272 run lead. Gangles is unbeaten on 72 and will probably convince Dasgupta to let him bat on for a 100 tomorrow.
(Rohtak) Delhi forced Haryana to follow on after bundling them for 113. Haryana are 105-6 in their second innings. This despite Ashish Nehra shooting blanks. This game: all but over.
(Nasik) Two late wickets from Powar allowed Mumbai to finish on top after making 515 against Maharashtra who are docked at a very disappointing 99-4.
(Hyderabad) Hyderabad took a first innings lead after making 251 built largely around VVS’s snooze-worthy but vital innings of 76. Punjab are 39 runs ahead in their second innings with 5 wickets in hand and already packing their bags.

(Kanpur) In the game of Discarded India Players With No Hope (Raina, Kaif, Venugopal Rao, RP Singh), UP put memories of the sound December trashing at the hands of Baroda behind them and took a huge 235 run lead against Andhra. Venu is on 25 and hoping to surprise everyone by actually making some runs. But he’ll have to get past RPS who has bowled really well so far.

Ranji matches.. all big names show up with tremendous results..it is pathetic to watch now a days Indian team on international arena .. Earlier I was thinking of making travel arrangements to watch India playing in West Indies .. Now am having second thoughts of whether to order this WC2007 on internet or not .. Hope these Ranji matches serve as warm up games for atleast some players.
