(Chennai) Tamil Nadu are 87 runs with 9 wickets in hand away from an outright win against Baroda. Although Irfan Pathan mopped up TN for 342 with a return of 4-59, his score of 36 in Baroda's second innings was the team's highest as off-spinner Ravichandra Ashwin once again returned outstanding figures (6-64).
(Kolkata) Gangles duly finished his century (122) as Bengal extended their first innings lead with a score of 583-6 declared. Rajasthan for 202-4 by close and fighting an outright defeat.
(Rohtak) There was some consolation for Sehwag today after being dropped from the ODI squad as he took 4-63 bowling his genial off-breaks to mop up Haryana and register a huge win for Delhi by an innings and 18 runs. Haryana captain Joginder Sharma, who had a disappointing match is in the squad picked by the Indian selectors.
(Nasik) Ajit Agarkar returned the outstanding figures of 5-41 as Mumbai skittled Maharashtra out for 191 and then had them on the run at 148-6 after enforcing the follow-on. Tomorrow: outright win.

(Rajkot) Kanaiya Vaghela's century and his century opening stand with Jogiani (80) notwithstanding, Saurashtra were 352-8 and had all but surrendered the first innings lead to Karnataka. Well fought Saurashtra, but they'll have to give up their spot to Delhi in the Group A table.
