Aap Ka Patience is being tested

So right after we talked about what Himesh Reshammiya could do (or rather should avoid) to get some respect around here, he goes and announces his new movie Aap Ka Suroor - The Real Love Story with a video medley of his stuff.

Now we have yet another promo video (playing on B4U Music) where he emerges from a private jet in a pink cap (which is fine only it doesn't exactly go with flowing leather jackets) and is quickly hustled into a limo which then bursts into a motorcycle lead caravan of somber looking bimmers. There is even a helicoptor for added security from...what, exactly?

I looked carefully. There don't seem to be any thronging crowds around the plane or on the side roads taken by our man's entourage. And Himesh has to know that when people threaten to blow him up, they are probably just complaining about the music. So maybe next time an Enterprise rental might do the trick - and leave some extra cash over to hire a decent songwriter.

Himesh's promo is also littered with critical acclaim, framed by Cannes Palm D'Or style wreaths (its classy - see?). Well, if Desitalk thinks its great - I'm in (I think).

Ugh. His voice drives me absolutely bonkers (and not in the good way) and too much of the stuff he sings sounds the same to me. I went back and read your post of suggestions for him, and I could not agree more with the "first global rock star" problem. I know he's not the only culprit of this, and that maybe this isn't even his fault, but I am so sick of set design in songs consisting of writhing women with maybe some stairs, mirrors, or flowing water thrown in for good measure. But the, The Matrix was years and years ago.

It's amazing isn't it. When you sit down and short through his music you realize he is trying hard for variety. He moved things around quite a bit on Namastay London. And it still ends up sounding much the same.

Lollzz... I just crack up reading the post title xD
Each song of his sounds the same... with the same nasal voice :S I'm glad Sallu gave him a hard time on SRGMP ;)
