Aspi's Drift: The Radio Station

Along with last.fm, I also listen quite a bit to a custom channel on Pandora.

Although I can't package my channel in a neat widget like with last.fm, I can create this link that you can click on to listen to the Aspi's Drift channel.

Pandora is the company created to commercialize the Oakland-based Music Genome Project which uses specific characteristics of music (refered to as genes) to map your preferences. Types of music genes include gender of lead vocalist, level of distortion on the electric guitar, type of background vocals, ostinato or riff bass, tight or booming kick drum, handclaps, turntable scratches and organ solos among many others.

And it works! I usually end up listening music I like whenever I hit Pandora. Try it, you'll get a streaming mix of punk, garage, rock, bossa nova, R&B and folk.
