Polls: The real reality bites

MindRush suggested Indian Idol 3 and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 polls recently. I love polls. And there are plenty of free poll sites that allow you to create widgets you can embed in a blog.

But when I actually went out there and tried them I'll be darned: they all max out the number of poll answers at 10. Which means I can't fit in the Indian Idol or the SRGMP contestants in a poll until a little bit later.

So here is one instead on the judges on Indian Idol. Voting on the poll will show you the current results.

Javed Akhtar is in the lead! I hear Shabana Azmi replaces him tonight and goes hammer and tongs at Anu. Much fun is sure to ensue!

Good suggestion from MindRush and thanks to Aspi for implementing it.

Aspi,
I was thinking, for sometime :-(, to ask you if you could have some way for us (the 'commentators') to identify, before the results, who we think would be voted out (with our ids identified). Just a thought.

Talking about poll sites, here is a site that allows, I think, upto twenty answers, try it if you haven't: http://www.snappoll.com/

I think I was a bit late, looks like Rupal had already suggested about figuring out who gets voted off. I read the other article after I wrote my comment - sorry.

Hi S, good to see you here after a while. I can't seem to do the identification thing.

But will definitely look at snappoll.

Thanks for passing on the link!

Sorry S, snappoll craps out when I try to save the poll I create. I'll check again later, otherwise we'll definitely be on with one after II3 gets down to 10 this weekend.

Aspi: Thanks for noticing my absense; I was just busy.

My pick (for who will get voted off): Prasanth.

Wow, what a performance by Amit.

Shabana: as usual a class apart.

Anu Malek: ...

Geez, that Prasanth bombed didn't he? Bad song choice perhaps? But yes, Amit was terrific.

amit was awesome...looking focused and relaxed, whilst everyone else is too busy dancing or playing up for the cameras...definitely the dark horse (and what a horse! *cough*)..

*shock horror* the mentors on srgmp are really starting to annoy me... :o|

SRGMP? I have almost stopped watching that show! I may not watch it anymore unless of course Aspi writes something, again, to make me go back to it :-)

~mm~ that's a good point. The more people have been focusing on performance, the more Amit seems focused on singing. And he seems to be winning the game based on that strategy, doesn't he?

indeedy...i think he's taking his second chance very seriously, and that's a good thing... remains to be seen if others can now rise to the challenge as well :o)

(i personally hope they don't as i want amit to win but that's just my own, selfish desire) ;o)
