She sent me their monthly newsletter and on the very first page was a blurb saying 'Meet the Pet of the Month- an 8 week old tabby kitten- Priti'. Of course I bawled.

If I was Shahrukh, I'd be thrilled. Obviously those dog owners are fans. Kimi Katkar just sounds deranged.

Re: Vidya-Kareen rowrr?, I am atill v confused abt what exactly happened. Did my Bebo break up with Shahid or vice versa? And was it mutual parting of way or a love 'trikon'? And idya and Saif fit into all this? Hmm...

Lin said...

Pitu, I personally the break-up was more on Kareena's part. They both do say it was not a harsh break-up and maintain that they are still fine with each other and deny the various bad break-up rumors. I don't know if any have actually denied that it was more so on Kareena's part.

And they do seem to be on good terms. After their break-up, there have been reports of them spotted together a few times. And I saw a few minutes of them together in Nach Baliye last year. It was hard to believe they had broken up.

Despite that, lol at the Vidya-Kareena rowr--if it's true. It's kind of messed up of Kareena, but I can't help but find the idea of a catfight involving Vidya amusing. Remember when she had the whole "There's something about Vidya" aura and hype about her?

Pitu said...

Hmm, I was just thinking they haven't rly been super frank abt it as opposed to say, Amrita and Rozza reg. Saif.

I did see the NB episode you mention and overall they had a good rapport but there were a few moments where it seems that it was a bit fake. Did you see the bit where Shahid baited Bebo a bit and she was like "But I'm the real Punjabi, the fun Punjabi". I thot mebbe she was alluding to his supposed homebody ways vs her partying. Dunno.

Bebo has always been a bit ultra touchy. She made some catty comments about John Abraham becuase in KWK he said he preferred Rani's acting over her.

But, Vidya also seems a bit catty, no? Remember her criticism of Manish Malhotra despite her own horrid orange salwar kameez?

I hear ya on the 'Vidya has this aura' bit. The biggest feud has ot have been the Rani/Ash falling out. Have you seen the Ash Jeena Isi Ka Nam Hai? My god, Rani's all "My Aishu, my Aishumaa" ewww

Aspi said...

Pitu, I think you are right. Both Shahid and Kareena tried their best to be mature about it and pulled it off to a large extent. But sometimes it bites to break up like that and jibes get thrown.

Probably the worst Shahid had to endure was on SVOI when that clueless mutt Aadesh Srivastava gave him crap for liking a Kareena song. Right after their break up went public.

Pitu said...

Rly? What did Srivastava say?

Lin said...

Oh yeah. It was a was a huge WTF? I wonder if he lived in a bubble or something. Granted, at that time some people weren't exactly sure if the breakup was just rumors/publicity stunt, but still... man.

And poor Shahid, he looked kind of sad when he was listening to the song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKj72hdBJjw

Pitu, Vidya's true colors came out at her dig for MM. And yeah Rani is a huge sycophant.

Lin said...

"she looked gorgeous but then again she can never go wrong.."

I respectfully disagree.

Have you not seen her various fashion monstrosities?

Her fashion at this year's Cannes has been considerably better than previous years, though.

Aspi said...

There are fashion monstrosities and then there are fashion monstrosities. Most of the time I find that the bar (as far as fashion police go) is higher with Aish than others - to be fair.

Most of the actresses in that Heyy Babyy song (since we *were* talking about Sajid earlier) tend to get away with murder.

Einstein was right: its all relative.

Joules said...

If you really wanna talk about fashion monstrosity check out Jaya B. at Cannes. I just found out there are designers (Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani) behind that outfit.

Aish is mostly doing it right this year and I am happy to see that she is mixing in vibrant colors in her wardrobe and I am loving her hairstyles (the first day and the pull back look).

Ash is the most talked about Indian actress on the internet so she gets a larger share of loyal fans and bric bats.

Still found it amusing that Amar Singh showed up at Cannes with the rest of the family.

Pitu said...

Totally disagree Aspi, I don't think Aish has higher standards attached to her. She dresses horrid, period. It's just that unlike other actresses, she actually gets to attend major events where there is a lot of media coverage. So her outfits are noticeable. But the bright fuchsia corset of yesteryears at Cannes along with the bright magenta 'Can Can girl makeup' is seared in my brain.

Joules, credit also goes to AbuJ-Sandeep K for Vidya's orange velvet-curtain-beading monstrosity at this yr's Filmfares. And Amar Singh needs to get a life, pronto.

I know Jaya B is loved by many - but I've seen her in her second coming and she has got to be the most charmless actress I have seen in recent years. Even her smile is super fake.

I don't know much about Amar Singh, but everything I've heard tells me there is a black comedy to be made there.

Lin said...

"I find that the bar (as far as fashion police go) is higher with Aish than others"

It depends on the blog. I've seen a few blogs that actually sets the bar for Aish lower than for other actresses. (I would name them, but I don't know if it's the best idea.) But then there others do call her out more often on her fashion mistakes.

(Though to be fair, I don't particularly like people calling out the stars on re-using clothes. It seems like the best thing to do--environmentally and humanely.)

As for Amar Singh. UGH UGH UGH!!!

Aspi said...

Lin, I have to agree re: the reusing of clothes. I don't mind people pointing it out - but slamming them for it seems a little weird. Maybe its one of those fashion police - have-to-do-its.

m said...

"Have you not seen her various fashion monstrosities?"

YEAH SO?

i said she always looks gorgeous..and she can wear a dress made from potato sacks and still manage to look stunning.. she looks way better in her bad days compared to other media and desi people darlings on their best days.. so gee thanks for that

megan said...

"Most of the time I find that the bar (as far as fashion police go) is higher with Aish than others - to be fair.
"

Oh tell me about it.. i have seen the same "fashionistas" praise other actresses when they wear Manish Malhotra FUGLY dresses that look like something straight out of some cheap tacky imitation designer gear.. but then always manage to be extra critical when it comes to Ash

no matter how much they would like to convince themselves and others by writing super huge paragraphs being all defensive about how they are "fair'

I mean it must hit a nerve..like you say "some people always criticize her for everything" and people write essays saying how it isn't so.. i mean WTF who is talking about "THEM"??? i mean if they don't do that why get so overly defensive? unless it hit a raw nerve

(BTW Disclaimer: it wasn't directed at anyone, if you don't do that then its not directed at you.. so please don't give me an essay.. i have 1000 things on my mind right now than argue about this AGAIN)
Thanks in advance

girlie girl said...

I agree Megan, that green dress was my favorite out of all of her dresses at Cannes. Not a fan of the bland makeup though...looks like she just woke up...

Anonymous said...

I see that Aish-at-Cannes is a topic here as well..I agree that my overall impression is that she gets way more brickbats than her peers in the industry - for various reasons, she rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

I agree that her dresses this year are the best so far - but I doubt she has much of a choice - doesn't L'Oreal get to do all her dressing/makeup etc.? My take on her bad choices though, is that she doesn't "Wear" them well - even last year's dress at Cannes (the silver off-shoulder one) - her body language was uncomfortable, and that comes across as the dress not looking good on her. I suspect she could have carried off even horrors like the pink corset or the parrot-green sari thingy, if her body-language was more assured - which it was in the year she appeared in the sari (for Devdas?) - I thought the sari was a horribly loud color, but she was very comfortable in it and it showed - she radiated confidence in the pictures and managed to carry off the sari.

Aspi, with you on the celebrity reuse of clothes bit - but yeah, I think it is some fashion dictat that I don't know.

- Bitterlemons

Joules said...

I am all for reusing clothes but not the exact same look specially if you are a celebrity.

I rarely ever am seen in the same outfit twice in a season at parties and events. However, you dont have to buy a whole new outfit for every event. You can change your look by mixing and matching, changing accessories, shoes, jewellery, even hairstyle.

This advice usually goes for girls. I know how guys are so fond of their confortable jeans and T's.

Joules said...

My understanding is that Loreal took over the clothes and make up after the Neeta Lulla disaster.

Yeah, some how Ash does not seem as comfortable with her beauty and I find that endearing about her. For someone so beautiful (which she must have been her whole life) and so use to the camera flash bulbs she seems very conscious when in the limelight.

Aspi said...

There is something about Aish's look - might be the built in sophistication relative to Indian actresses - that makes her look very mature on screen. As a result she looks like a lot of her heroes' older sister.

Case in point is Abhishek Bachchan himself - and I think might be why the little B keeps his stubble on most times he is with her even though its so bhikhari-chaap (I apologize in advance for offending financially disenfranchized people) .

Not that it is as bad as when she was paired with her little boy Vivek.

Pitu said...

bhikhaari-chhap!!!!!! hahahaaaahahaaaa! Omg I dont't think I can ever see Baby B without thinking that lol

Pitu said...

Kanan, ya Jaya's outfit is horrendous. The only saving grace is the seafoam color. Imagine the same outfit in purple/orange/magenta etc.

Reg. Jaya, the first time I noticed her bitterness/unhappiness etc was on her KWK episodes (one with Amitabh and one with Hema Malini- the Mom Spl episode). She just seemed so unhappy and disappointed with life and her answers were so.. eh. Like Karan asked her what she appreciates best abt Amitabh and she was like 'Our kids'. Um, ok, nothing to say about your husband? At all?? It's a bit sad to reconcile her today with the adorable little girl from Satyajit Ray's 'Nayak'.

I don't know what the deal is. Maybe she and hubby are at loggerheads constantly, in which case he is a phenomenal actor to not let anyone see his unhappiness.

Aspi said...

That's Jaya B?! I thought Aish had brought along her favorite chai in a tea cosy.

Pitu said...

Correction: she wasn't in Nayak, I remembered her from Ray's Mahanagar.

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.satyajitray.org/images/mahanag_04.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.satyajitray.org/films/mahanag.htm&h=119&w=180&sz=11&hl=en&start=10&tbnid=SzTDD_ZGgvD9jM:&tbnh=67&tbnw=101&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmahanagar%2Bjaya%26gbv%3D2%26ndsp%3D21%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN

Look at the 2nd pic on the right. The charmer in the middle is Jaya.

Pitu said...

LOL a tea cosy? Aspi, you're wicked! :-D

Joules said...

It's sad to see her now. She is one of my fav's. Her look was so classic that it never looked outdated even if you see her really old movies.

Loved her in guddi, Anamika (meri bheegi bheegi see palkon), Parichay, Abhimaan, Chupke Chupke, Bawarchi, Kora Kagaz, Milli - I could just keep going on.

This is mean to say but I sometimes wonder if she is all there these days. Remember, she had forgotten her grand daughter's name at one of the award shows.

Although she has a daughter and a dil. Could one of those not have said anything about that outfit.

Aspi said...

The first time I noticed the kadwa nature of Jaya B was when someone leaked the pictures of the Abhiwarya mehndi ceremony. Boy did she looked pissed.

I'm telling you that Amar Singh is doing the Bachchan family no good :) How would you like a guy who never left your husband's side and put his clothes in one of your closets (not to mention his car in your driveway).

m said...

lol Preity is dressed like an old lady at Cannes this year. Her gown reminds me of something someone like Susan Sarandon will wear.

facially she looks like that Indian Idol 3 contestant. You know the short haired chubby one. Think her name was Puja something, the one who was going out with Parleen??

Joules said...

I liked Alberta Ferretti's design on Preity. Its springy and refreshing. The necklace seems a little too much but then she was representing Chopard but I wish she had worn a simpler design.

Her hairstyle is getting panned a lot on the internet but I thought it was cute. I am always for Indian actresses trying out different hairstyles and laying off the extensions.

Aspi said...

I read somewhere that Chopard wanted Preity to have a 30s Hollywood look - which explains the hairstyle. If there was an X-men 4, I would cast her as Jubilee.

girlie girl said...

Aspi, what's with the X-Men reference these days?!

Poor Mrs. B, i wonder if she's unhappy with the whole Abhiwariya thing...I read somewhere before they got married that she didnt wan't her son to marry him, but since it was ok'd by Big B, she really didnt have much say in the matter. I have noticed that ever since the Abhi-Ash wedding, Ash is the woman of the family is poor Mrs. B is a second-class citizen...

I personally like Preity's look at Cannes as well...it's very sophisticated and elegant.

Aspi said...

Everything I know in life I learned from X-men, so I'll have to struggle harder to keep those references away :)

Recently I've rarely seen PZ look bad (except for that garuda pic we put up on the Drift) - and I'm not a sophisticated fashionista who has to answer to tested guidelines. If it looks good, I'm impressed.

On the other hand, PZ doesn't take too many risks either. Aish does - probably because her perceived stage is better and she feels the need to stand out more.

The issue with Aish's dresses is that she *could* stand out by taking the ethnic route, but heroines who do that tend to get marginalized in Hollywood (casting is all about impression). So her agent probably has input in what she should wear and sadly enough - its the right input.

anu g said...

Girlie girl, I read an article some time back on the Jaya-Ash issue. It said Jaya preferred Ash to Rani(as a bahu), cos she felt that in the past, Amitabh was drawn towards Rekha cos she was taller and better looking than short and plain Jaya. She didnt want something similar to happen with Abhishekh (cos Rani is today's Jaya?).Thats why she was keen that Abhishekh had a pretty wife, so he wouldnt be tempted to go astray!
I remember watching an episode of Koffee with Karan where Jaya was beaming and saying she loved Ash!
Of course, she may be regretting it now, poor lady, since she has been totally sidelined by the two men in her life!

Pitu said...

V interesting, girlie girl! Also, did u see the photo on the red carpet where Big B and Baby B are holding Ash's hands and Mamma B is in the back frowning? Wonder wot the Drift psychologists would say abt the Jaya-Rani comparison. After all, men do choose wives like their moms. I am almost a replica of my ma-in-law (and that's fine coz I love her).

Also, I found it interesting that Ash was on the sets of Laga Chunari mein daag. After all, Rani has been linked with Aby before and with other married men (Govinda, Aditya Chopra). Plus, didn't Rani once say on KWK that she was attracted to the much-married SRK? Hmm, I'd appear on my hubby's sets too if Rani was his co-star!

Aspi said...

anu g, tremendous gossip. A picture emerges of a family trying to hold on to tradition in the face of a wildly changing wild environment i.e. films.

But given Abhishek's previous gfs (i.e. Karishma, Nandita Mahtani), he seems to pick women who are ambitious, organized, entitled and canny. He's hardly picked his mom - given that I don't know what Jaya was like off-screen in her eligible days.

Joules said...

I dont think there was much to Rani and Abhi talk. Rani was suppose to be dating Adi at that time (and still is) and atleast wont be doing any hanky-panky on his sets.

Joules said...

Jaya was also full of praise for Ash on the school opening saying that "hamare jaisi bahu sab ko mile" :gag::gag:

I think she may have never forgiven Amitabh for stopping her from doing movies and it may have all comeback now that Amitabh is enjoying a second lease of success.

so, I'm confused, did Baby B every date Rani (or as anu g calls her, the new age Jaya!)??

In general though, I feel like Mamma B has been pushed down in the rankings in that house, i dont know if its cause of the lack of movies she's made (lately) or the new "perfect" bahu or what.

Aspi said...

I think there was some chatter - but probably because Little B and Rani became a somewhat hot jodi at one point on screen. Back then wasn't Rani already hooked up with Adi. No one would mess with that man. Not even a Bachchan.

I think Jaya B should give Ekta Kapoor a run for her money with a saas-bahu serial of her own. And just to be different, she should set it in a Tamil famil and call it "Hamari Bahu Valsamma". That that, Ekta!

TV soulmate, we think alike on the Rani-Abhi story as well. The Drift memsaab may end up with some competetion ;-)

As they say, competition is the mother of innovation

there was nothing between rani and abhisekh, according to one A list Bollywood actress (her relatives are our family friends) Jaya never liked Rani because she has a drinking problem and smokes too. Also she has had quite a few affairs with married men.. apparently Rani isn't liked by a lot of her peers because she lobbies for roles.. the same aforementioned actress in one interview was praising Rani i was like cracking up thinking that's not what she tells her cousins.. 2 actresses known to be the bitchiest in Bollywood are 1. Rani and 2. i think most will guess that.. 2nd is apparently bitchy to the face but Rani is very sly ..

Abhisekh was getting close to one of his leading actress before Ash but his mom didn't like her. He does everything his mom says apparently.

i know a lot of other tidbits but don't remember at the moment

Aspi said...

Actually Beth just emailed me about getting together for the Bachchan's concert in Chicago. So they're playing here (or somewhere around here).

Aspi said...

anon (with the dish on Rani): please assume the name Shobha De and stop by here often to enlighten us.

aspi - ne idea abt the date??
or whre 2 get tix??????

Aspi said...

Just checked - they indeed have no MW dates. Too bad.

Aspi said...

Regarding that Aamir Khan apology to SRK fans - the first rule of making fun of others is that you have to be able to make fun of yourself. Otherwise it looks petty.

Pitu said...

Aspi, au contraire, Jaya was an extremely ambitious actress and why not! The woman's father was a scriptwriter and she debuted in a Ray film. She successfully carved a niche for herself despite not necessarily being 'gorgeous'. She did commercial as well as hard-core Art cinema equally well, and she married way up. Into none other that the Bachchan clan (the pedigree coming from Harivanshrai Bachchan of course). Doesn't that sound like an ambitious, organised, canny woman? Methinks she hates Amitabh because of his dbl standards.

First she marries into the clan, quits films to become a full-time mommy, deals with hubby's affairs and scandals (Bofors, ABCL bankruptcy) and NOW has to see her bahu act in every high profile film. Remember Shweta Bachchan got married at age 19, and became a mom at 21. But the rules are clearly very different for Aishwarya. From Jaya's perspective, Amitabh is no longer alpha male, it's Aishwarya.

Aspi said...

Good points, Pitu. I think you've convinced me.

girlie girl said...

Check out SRK's hair stylist...

http://entertainment.in.msn.com/bollywood/article.aspx?cp-documentid=1409744

She talks about SRK being "experimental with his hair styles"...um, for as long as I can remember, he's had the same hairstyle...the only thing that changed was he was introduced to some greasy gel and had a sad excuse for a ponytail!

Joules said...

You are right. He has always kept the same hair style. Ofcourse, in hindi movie a few streaks in the hair is considered a completely new look. Most actors do not change their hairstyle whether it is Amitabh, Abhi, Akshay, Ajay or SRK. The only two who have experimented in a drastic way are Amir Khan and John Abraham.

I thought Rab ne bana di.. has Sonam in it as the 19yr old. This article says its Anoushka Sharma.

Pitu said...

Joules, you're right abt heroes not changing their look. And the only time I remember Akshay changing his look drastically was when he had that HORRENDOUS orangy daadhi and hair in Bewafaa. He reminded me of those attarwaale Muslim uncles at Crawford market. And remember Ajay Devgan's disastrous blonde streaks? What a genius his stylist was :-p I also expected a lot more from a YRF film than Rani's atrocious curly wig in Ta Ra Rum Pum.

I say, better to look monotonous than horrendous lol.

girlie girl said...

lol Pitu! I remember reading somewhere where they said that Rani is trying a new look for the Indian Mary Poppins film (dont know the name) but I saw online the only thing different was the fact that she cut 3 inches off so it went from waist-length to shoulder length. WHAT A DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE (please note sarcasm!!)

also, people made such a big deal when Akshay tried the buzz cut for Tashan and when Saif did the buzz cut for Omkara...It didnt look much different vs their old self.

Pitu said...

girlie, the movie in question is 'Thoda magic thoda pyar'. And yeah, she rly doesn't look any different. The good thing is, the role will ensure she won't wear tubetops (Nach baliye song- Bunty aur Babli) although she cud possibly wear a bad wig for some dream sequence or the other. Because Mary Poppins or not, there has to be a love angle :-p

god, whoever though Rani would look good in a tube top was out of their mind! I mean, she's already as short as a midget, then you add her not-so-slim torso, and those should be enough reasons to say no.

Re: SalluKat - like Chris Farley once said in Beverly Hills Ninja: Holy Shitto!

When you're down, you're really kicked around.

Aspi said...

And I might have said it before but I'll say it again: major fashion crimes were committed in that Nach Baliye song.

Pitu said...

The only other time I can remember 'the girls' being bounced around so much was Manisha Koirala's 'Tu Hi Re' song in 'Bombay'. *snigger*

Joules said...

Not to forget Abhi's thin arms in the sleevless vest.

Joules said...

Although, I have to say that movie was Rani's best. Short, portly or unstylish she still is a good actress.

Pitu said...

She was v funny in it, but my fave Rani performance is from 'Black'. Unbelievable!! She was also v good in Yuva.

Aspi said...

I haven't seen Rani much (only Saathiya really and a bit of Tara Ra Rum on a plane) but whenever I hear her voice I feel very thirsty.

Really if I write a post about her I will be calling her Ek Glassy.

Pitu said...

LOL! U know wot bugs me, Aspi? When Rani rasps out a dialog and immediately lip syncs a shrill, squeaky, sweet song by Alka Yagnik. It's like whoa! What just happened??

Joules said...

Saw Juno yesterday and am so impressed with the storty telling, dialouges and acting by everyone in the movie.

I normally dont cry (infact I usually laugh when the director expects you to cry) but the last few scenes brought tears to my eyes.

Megan, thanks for the reco. I would'nt have watched the movie if I had'nt heard it on the drift.

Abhi-Ash should stop acting like they are still newly weds.and the media hype attached to it pisses me off even more.

anyway, unrelated to all this,i heard somewhere a guy was asked about what his advice would be to parents about how to nurture their child's talents and he started with a saying which went something like 'Ghoongat ka pat khologe....'
what does 'pat' mean?i hope it dosen't mean something bad.if it does,i'm sorry for asking:)

Pitu said...

Cinderella- I think it means 'border' or 'hem'.

Joules said...

I think it means something that can be parted for example darwaze the pat to reveal something hidden behind it.

Beautiful article by Sukanya Verma-

THat is such a funny article. I remember all those performances...you can't imagine those old songs on anyone else but the actors who performed to them. I mean, can you imagine anyone else doing "Mere Angne mein" or SriDevi doing "Ek, Do Teen"? God NO!

btw, There is this show on TVAsia called "ABhi to mein Jawan Hoon" which I started watching cause my dad watches it, and it's quite good. THey play all these old classic songs...it's great entertainment!

Pitu said...

I'm sure this is rly old for some of u folks, but I just saw it and it's awesome hahahahaha!

@ girlie girl, hey I love those episodes of ATMJH on TVAsia. I got to catch a couple of them last year when we had cable but then we got rid of it so no more. I should look up one of those online websites for their shows. They truly are awesome!! actually they have some of the articles online, in fact it's a HUGE database. Not sure whether you're already aware of them. Click this link --> "Abhi To Main Jawaan Huun" database

@ Pitu, Thank you, for the link to such a fun article.. maza aa gaya padh ke. :)

Aspi said...

I watch those occasionally too. Kanan, that database you passed on is a really good one. I suppose if someone had time, you could build an index by name instead of number. Because that would be helpful.

On the other hand the tripod search is pretty good although one of the problems is you don't often know what to search for :(

m said...

hahaha Rani as a cricket player! They chose the right sport for her. I don't know anything about cricket but those dudes are fat, ugly and some of them even have potbellies.

So perfect for Rani

Aspi said...

I can totally see Rani hitting a cover drive.

Pitu said...

Rani doesn't look like she has ever played any sport ever :-p so to depict her as a cricket capt is such a major joke I can't imagine how they're gonna pull THAT off!! Maybe she'll wear Manish Malhotra saris and sing on the field to 'motivate' the players :-D

Kanan said...

Aspi, making that database more user-friendly would be a dream come true, until then google search here I come!

Speaking of Rani and sports, does anyone remember watching Baadal (2000) of Rani & Bobby Deol? There's a scene in there where Rani and Mayuri Kango participate in a skating competition. If you haven't already seen it, you've missed out on complete entertainment. It's a must-watch for Rani's triple-lutz and triple axel's. LOL! Just to watch that skating scene I can watch the whole movie over and over again. It's one of those ekdam-third-class-lekin-mast movie. ;)

After watching a few similar making-fun videos on youtube thought I'd share this one too. Found it on someone's blog. :D

Kanan, this one is much better than the Thriller one. But it helps that Prabhudeva is the goofiest looking actor around. When you see him without a shirt, you kind of realize why he favors those big coats.

Aspi, that thriller stuff, I couldn't go past a few seconds. It's too ridiculous. Benny Lava is much more fun! :D Did you see Sushmita's "mehboob mere"? That's quite outrageous too!!!

Pitu said...

Kanan, Thanks for the Prabhudeva link. My hubby and I were literally laughing aloud, it was awesome!! And then of course we had to email it to all our desi friends ;-)

Lin said...

Okay. Speaking of Prabhudeva

Maybe about two years ago, I saw a video on youtube where Prabhudeva was performing at some Hindi film function. He was wearing blue Jeans, and it was in the 2000s. If I remember correctly, they were kind of flared jeans the ones--which make sense considering the time frame. I think he was performing with a B Wood actress as well. My mind for some reason is thinking Madhuri or Sridevi. But I wouldn't be too sure about that.

I've been trying to find it again, but with no luck.

Does anyone remember some Filmfare Award or something where Prabhudeva danced?

The reason I want to find this video again? Because I remember being taken back at how much better he looked out of the horrible 80s and 90s getup.
